Founded in 1890 as the National Association of Life Underwriters, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is a federation of nearly 1,000 state and local associations representing 100,000 insurance and financial advisors. More than 450 of the Omaha area's leading insurance and financial services professionals belong to NAIFA-Omaha. Membership meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of every month September through May at Omaha's elegant Happy Hollow Country Club.

	Speakers Association of the Midlands
Speakers Association of the Midlands (SAM) is the regional affiliate of the National Speakers Association (NSA), the premiere organization for experts who speak professionally. NSA members include experts in a variety of industries and disciplines, who reach audiences as trainers, educators, humorists, motivators, consultants and authors. SAM members meet at Omaha's Crowne Plaza hotel the second Saturday of every month to hear tips, learn techniques and obtain insight from some of the nation's top professional speakers. 	Independent Insurance     Agents of Omaha
The Independent Insurance Agents of Omaha (IIAO) has been a part of Omaha's business community since 1919. It is the local link of the Independent Insurance Agents of America, one of the nation's largest trade associations. More than 28,000 insurance agencies and 280,000 insurance professionals nationwide are members of the "Big I." The IIAO's membership luncheon meetings are generally held the third Thursday of each month. Most meetings offer outstanding opportunities for members to receive continuing education credit.
